In the main deck there are no big changes from my previous list. The metagame has changed much on a fundamental level except that the general trend it for an increase in delver variants and chalice based prison decks. Thus the only real flex slot in the main, Empty the Warrens, is even better than ever. The one change that there is though is the Bloodstained Mire over a Misty Rainforest, this is due to more wastelands so I want to fetch basic swamp more often.
Here I have made some significant changes in the discard spells and Wipe Away are replaced with 2 Flusterstorm and a second Ad Nauseum. The Flusterstorms fill a similar role to the discard in that they come in against other combo decks but now we are just going to have the ability to set up a bit more due to having a reactive spell vs pure discard. I know I’ve long been a proponent of no counters in a deck with LED but they are something we can bring in vs the fast combo decks that surgical would shine against while also being great against sneak and show. The addition of the second Ad Nauseum is due to the increase in chalice decks, as now we can go really deep on our postboard “TES MODE” plan. Also it is good vs the faster combo decks where we were already on YOLO mode anyway. Wipe Away was also not pulling its weight by being too expensive while also not synergizing well with our game plan vs decks where we would need it uncounterability.
Here I will cover all the matchups from my previous legacy ANT, where I will only list the in/out lists for sideboarding and adding game plan details if they have changed from the previous post. I will also add a few additional matchups at the end where I will give Hate we will face and game plan.

OUT: -3 Cabal Therapy, -2 Preordain, -1 Empty the Warrens, -1 Dark Petition, -1 Rain of Filth, -1 Island, -1 Ponder
HATE: Counters, surgical, cage
IN: +1 Tendrils of Agony
OUT: -1 Ad Nauseum
Gameplan: Here we are playing similar to grixis and sultai except that they can only interact on the stack with us and due to no DRS we can use the graveyard much more easily. In games 2 ad 3 we are using the same “window” strategy that I outlined in my previous post in the Grixis delver section, except we can be more confident in our control role, as they have no discard.
HATE: lots of counters, discard, surical, cage, spellbomb
IN: +1 Tendrils of Agony, +2 Fatal Push
OUT: -1 Ad NAuseum, -1 Dark Petiton, -1 Cabal Ritual
Gameplan: Here we are basically playing against grixis delver except they are way more aggresive with their life total and have way more hard counters with a 4+ power creature in play due to stubborn denial. The plus side to this is that now we can tendrils them out of nowhere a lot as getting to 4ish storm is no problem. Post board is again similar to grixis delver but again tendrils is our best friend.
4C PILE (traditional)
Hate: discard, counters, graveyard hate
IN: +2 Chain of Vapor
OUT: -1 Dark Petition, -1 Preordain
Gameplan: They are quite discard heavy so we are much more safe to just jam against them. We want to get under hymn to torach or play out all our rocks to brainstorm a tutor/ad naus on top to dodge. Postboard its similar on now they have surgicals and some flusterstorms. One thing to note though is that they have maindeck, and after board about 3, aswers to Empty so it is still a big gambit without perfect info. We bring in the chains as many are starting to bring in direct hate like arcane labratory, while also still having the fail case of bouncing a leovold or DRS.
4C PILE (Dak Fayden)
Hate: similar to traditional but more maindeck counters
Gameplan: Here things are similar to traditional but we dont have to worry about much discard comparatively but we do have to be careful about playing mana rocks as DAk can steal them. Postboard is similar as well except they are more counter focused and dont bring in direct hate thus the chains aren’t needed.
MONO RED PRISON
Hate: lock piece artifacts, bloodmoon, scab clan berserker
IN: +3 Chrome Mox, +2 Chian of Vapor, +2 Echoing Truth, +2 Hurkyl’s Recall, +1 Ad Nauseum
OUT: -2 Preordain, -2 Ponder, -1 Rain of Filth, -1 Underground sea, -3 Cabal Therapy, -1 Dark Petition,
Gameplan: We just try and jam as they just have way too many hate pieces to care about figuring out a game plan before starting. Afterboard we gain a lot of answers but they also gain berserker which is basically eidolon of the great revel for us. Basically here just channel your inner belcher pilot.
Hate: artifact lock pieces, thought knot seer, warping wail, graveyard hate
IN/OUT: same as red prison
Gameplan: here we are still just trying to “belcher” them the same as against red prison but they have a better clock and some hand disruption/counters. Afterboard not much changes except they may have black leyline, and ratchet bomb to answer empty, still just jam and hope.
